Marrying art and science is an essential ability of a skilled injector. Body + Beauty Lab Training aims to offer comprehensive, non-intimidating, approachable training that will enhance your confidence as an injector.
Clinicians without previous injecting experience or having less than one year experience routinely injecting either of the FDA approved neurotoxin products for aesthetic use and FDA approved dermal fillers. All attendees must have an active medical license in order to attend.
Intermediate educational courses will provide an all-inclusive learning experience for medical injectors, focusing on lip anatomy, injection technique, and adverse events. The experience will include both didactic and hands-on training, where learners will be guided by an advanced aesthetic injector and have the ability to ask questions. Attendees will have their knowledge tested through performance evaluation and a didactic post-test.
The courses will be held in the medical spa facility, meeting all health and safety standards. Injectors attending will be required to have previous injecting training in order to attend this course. All attendees will need to show proof of medical malpractice insurance and supply their own pre-screened models for hands-on training.
Our Medical Injector will instruct providers on consultation approaches, patient assessment, anatomy, product choice, rheology, and various advanced techniques. This course will cover full face rejuvenation including neuromodulators and dermal fillers. Sculptra and PDO threads may be discussed and demonstrated as well depending on patient requests. You will have ample time to ask questions and the training will be customized to what the group is wanting to learn and experience. This is a beginner course as multiple areas will be covered.
Our shadowing program further supports learning and builds confidence for the practitioner. It also enables newcomers to observe and assess their options for a career in the aesthetics field. Spend a day one-on-one with one of the Body+Beauty Lab Training injectors. Observing the assessment and consultation process, and how to establish trust with your client. Execution of treatment plan, and ensuring client satisfaction.
